Silver Swan Oyster Farming Project

Did you know a single adult oyster can filter up to 50 gallons of water a day? Imagine how clear our waterways would be if we had more oysters! Silver Swan Bayside is actively involved in helping clean the bay!

Oysters are the Chesapeake Bay’s best natural filters. They also provide essential habitat for fish and other Bay creatures. Unfortunately, today’s oyster population is a small fraction of what it used to be.

Sharing our amazing waterside location, we are now partnering with The Chesapeake Bay Foundation in helping regrow, rejuvenate and replenish the bay.

Help us help Chesapeake Bay in this amazing restoration process that will help the bay and its oysters to flourish for years to come.
