From the moment we saw it, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. Our coordinator, Nina, was incredible from start to finish. Everything was set up exactly as we had imagined, and the whole day ran so smoothly thanks to Nina’s organization and attention to detail. The food and smith island cake were delicious, and at the end of the night, the staff handled all the cleanup and packed everything up for us to pick up the next day. We were so grateful for this since we were pretty exhausted at the end of the night! We hosted our wedding at Silver Swan Bayside and couldn't have been happier with how it all went. The venue itself is stunning (especially around sunset) and has an intimate feel despite being large enough to host 100+ people comfortably. The food was delicious, with the braised beef short rib being a standout for us. As far as venues on Kent Island go, we found Silver Swan very affordable even with a couple upgrades. Their pricing was clear from the beginning (no hidden taxes/fees added later!), which we really appreciated. Our venue coordinator, Sharon, was helpful throughout the whole planning process - all the way from our first tour to the big day, she was responsive to questions, made useful suggestions, and was extremely helpful in coordinating with other vendors so the day went smoothly. In the few cases where we didn't leave detailed instructions for decor, she ran with what we provided and made it look simply beautiful. Thanks Sharon!!
